Rita is a social worker by training and  has worked in the multicultural sector in Queensland for the past 20 years. She has held many and varied roles in multicultural sector organisations, including over 10 years in NGOs, 4 years as a private consultant specialising in cross cultural service delivery and for the past 8 years as the manager of the Qld Transcultural Mental Health Centre in Queensland Health. Rita’s areas of expertise include women’s health, refugee health and mental health.
