Tours and Activities

Cairns is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, stepping stone to the ancient World Heritage listed Daintree National Park, and entry point to the Australia's Great Outback.

With over 600 daily tour operations for the tropical wildernesses of the Great Barrier Reef and World Heritage listed rainforests, Cairns is the hub of Tropical North Queensland's tourism industry. An eclectic mix of lifestyles ensures Cairns remains vibrant, from backpackers sunning themselves along the Esplanade to alfresco dining - all tastes and budgets are catered for.

The conference organisers have appointed Destination Cairns Marketing to assist you with all your tour needs, whether it is pre or post conference, or day tours,  DCM can help!  Please click on the link provided to view a vast array of spectacular tours and adventures.

Visitors can experience every facet of the rainforest people's culture - from the provocative History Theatre to the inspiring Creation Theatre, and the original Dance Theatre and the interactive Camp Village, where visitors can learn didgeridoo playing and boomerang throwing. Although this venue is not listed on the Destination Cairns Marketing web site, DCM can make reservations for interested delgates. Please mention the Conference when making a booking.
